This annual event is an occasion for the members to get together to discuss and show off their work while socializing over a great buffet in a fantastic setting. In addition to seeing the 32 posters with the latest and greatest pictures, corporate sponsors displayed new equipment, techniques and supplies. The wonderful buffet was generously sponsored by Ted Pella, FEI and Tousimis.

Best in Light Microscopy: Andrius Masedunkas and Roberto Weigert (prize donated by Ted Pella).
Best in Electron Microscopy: Takashi Sato (prize donated by Tousimis)
